Actor and comedian Chris Rock will be performing his stand up comedy routine at the Neal Blaisdell Arena in downtown Honolulu, Hawaii on 26 July, 2008. Tickets go on sale today and can be purchased at the Blaisdell Arena box office or at TicketMaster.com. Tickets are going for $35.50, $45.50 and $65.50 respectively. Kanye West has arrived the Hawaii Islands to record his next album on Oahu’s Avex Honolulu recording studio. If you didn’t know, Kanye West is a Grammy winning rapper best known for “Gold Digger.” and the “Bush hates black people” remark after Katrina.

Why wouldn’t recording artists come to Hawaii to record albums? You get to work a few hours a day then hit the beaches! It would be more like a vacation than work. Beyonce and Jay-Z have been known to record on Oahu as well.

There is also rumor that Kanye West has been going to anger management classes. What better way to relax than going to Hawaii?
