Every bad thing being blamed on the Hawaiian and yet were just 20% of the population. People that relocate or visit here have got to stop reading that Hawaii visitors bureau flier. Instead read the Hawaiian history not told in US schools(Coffman,Nation within). When one Nation invades and steals another Nations freedom and liberty then occupies it (118yrs.)… you’ve just made them into lifetime members in the quest for truth and justice from AmeriKKKa….

Rumors on Friday is much more representative of its hey days after 7:30pm-ish….Saturdays is a box of chocolates. Never know what you are going to get dependent on whom and how the night’s DJ is. Thats said, also more than likely the DJ will be a “young blood” that have little to no clue as to what real old school music is. They spin, pop in, click on or whatever it is they do to play old stuff and not real “old school” as it should be. Rumors was an iconic representation of how it was back in the day…now it sadly a mere shadow of itself. Granted the present Saturday DJ is pretty decent and certainly is able set the tone and bring the crowd to a crescendo….key is to maintain it and NOT play this ROCK crap as that was dead in the 70’s mid 80’s dance crazed era. We say bust out the funk more and get down with the R&B/Pop if yaz wantz to retrun as the reigning champ of 808’s ol’skool venue! nuff said!

Spent 5th grade in that hawaiian hell as a white military kid. Nothing like getting your ass beat by an 8Th grader that out weighs you by 50lbs. Never forgot it.
Well wahoo!!! What goes around comes around. Bumped into a couple of island mokes visiting my stomping grounds last week. Sucker punch KO on the big one, forth punch KO on his buddy. Then it was all boot pie time. Big boy was doing the moke snore & his buddy got no more teeth!
All I got is a swelled right hand. If you moke boys ever read this you now know why that cowboy stomped your sorry asses.
Come back to Vegas anytime, spend yer money & get yer ass whooped!!!!

these comments are beyond hilarious. the haole guy shouldnt have been murdered but like all states, there are good and bad areas…know your surrounding and just be smart about where you are at especially at 11pm.

thats so true. people who live here dont hear about these things. Ive been here for three years, and only for school, and if it wasnt for a post on facebook, i wouldnt have known about this. One thing I do hate is that all pacific islanders are being seen as the bad people. After living here for quite some time and have seen how some of the people are, I can tell you that Hawaiians are big a-holes! seriously. they think its all about them. no consideration. and sadly, some samoans, not all, who have grown up in hawaii have developed the same mindset as these locals, and are jst as big of a-holes. sad!

Ok honestly to me, a person from the Islands calling me a haole is not a big fuckin deal. Im NOT from their land, nor do I want to be. (Despite how beautiful and perfect it is. haha)Im from California and seeing people act like they are from california when theyre visiting pisses me off too..I live in Long Beach, 10 min from Huntington, one of the most known beaches in America. I see people all summer long who come from various parts of the country who arent really used to the california lifestyle…I totally get where Hawaiians are coming from. I mean…when its used as “Fuckin Haole” and I havent done anything wrong thats fucked up but whatever life goes on…what if a Hawaiian came to YOUR state acting like a Hawaiian…wonder how you’ll act towards them?? hah thats how they feel when some wierd ass family from Montana comes cruisin through Hawaii acting all wierd..I can see it from both sides of the fence here but all Im saying is, they have every right to be protective of their State and their land…just like us Californians are to people from other states..just like every american is with their state….its just that Hawaii started out as its own independent Nation..now they are part of our country and they just kind of have to accept the fact that we took their land and adopted it? and we can vacation there whenever we want? …now Im only using this to prove a point…but If the US was a big family..Hawaii would be like the step-child..(No Offense Hawaiians, just using it as a visualization kinda)Nobody in the family ever really understands them, they come from a completely different background..they are passionately proud of where theyre from..maybe if us Haoles respected Hawaii and all of its ancient culture and gave the state and the people all the respect and privacy it/they deserve, we would get a little respect in return. Im not saying that the tourists are being blatantly disrespectful to the locals, but think of it, what if America was all of the sudden taken over by Russia and used as a vacation hotspot and us Americans never got any privacy and always had random people coming from all over the place year round just to visit the land and walk and drive all over some of the places and spots held sacred to Hawaiians..All I think is that we shouldnt jump to conclusions and say that the Locals hate white people or are racist..its just that the same people who took over their nation are the same people using it for vacation and relaxation whenever they want it..its like someone coming in your house and using it for fun and relaxation and then leaving. Of course youre gonna have some resentment towards them. I think that the Hawaiian culture is one of the most amazing and appealing cultures in the world and I think that we should all have a little more respect for all of the locals in Hawaii..not necessarily give them special treatment…just treat them and their native land with a little bit of fucking respect you damn kooks. Ok, I am not the biggest fan about Haoles taking over my Hawaiian nation. Hell, I remember when I was four or five, my dad told me about how Princess Liliokilani was held captive by those damn American explorers. Well, long story short, they held her captive so the Americans could control Hawaii and a portion of the Pacific Ocean (for any wars, trading, ect). So anyways, the Americans ended up controlling Hawaii for many years. Then some Haole realized that Hawaii is one of the most beautiful locations on the face of the planet. Nice decision, Haole guy! Well guess what? Years later to the present day, our Hawaiian Islands looks like crap now. Wanna know why? Because if the Americans hav’nt invaded my islands, then we wouldn’t have any McDonalds, Wal Marts, or any other litter-causing companies. Now our islands are full of trash, litter, hobos, and why?? Because the term of the “Aloha Spirit” has been taken and ripped apart by those annoying Haole tourists! Those Haoles are crouding our Aloha Nations because they take pictures of the most retarded things. Why don’t they really see what they are taking pictures of? You know what they are taking pictures of? Hell. Hell. Hell!!! They ruined our cultures, way of living, and once again, the Aloha Spirit. All my friends in school are Hawaiians. And you know what? I am 50% Japanese, 40% Hawaiian, and 10% Filipino. I know there’s lots of other people with more Hawaiian blood in them, but even 0.01% Hawaiian blood is better than none.
