Taste of Kapolei Ko Olina Resort Hawaii

The Ninth Annual Ko Olina Taste at Kapolei will be at the Ulua Lagoon 4 at the Ko Olina Resort Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 5:30PM to 9:00PM. Enjoy the best food Hawaii has to offer from 20 of the finest restaurants on Ohau. You also get unlimited wine and other beverages with live entertainment.

Tickets: $75.00 for Adults and $35.00 for children (7 through 12). Children 6 and under free. Proceeds benefit community educational programs and Ko Olina Charities which help Leeward O’ahu youth

Pearl Harbor Museum 2010

There will be a new Pearl Harbor Museum in 2010 on Oahu, Pearl Harbor. The museum will cost $54 million to build and is for visitors to the USS Arizona Memorial and other sunken ships at Pearl Harbor. Construction will start this year and be completed on the 69th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack in December, 2010.

Currently, the current museum receives twice the traffic that it was built for. This new museam will accommodate the current traffic of around 1.5 million visitors each year.

Ryan Grice Mullins Hawaii Football Bears

Former Hawaii football star wide receiver Ryan Grice-Mullen will play in the Canadian Football League (CFL) instead of the NFL this year. Grice-Mullen was initially signed by the Houston Texans and then the Chicago Bears, but was cut before his NFL career could get going. Grice-Mullen. Most recently, he was signed by the BC Lions football team to participate in their practice squad.
