The Basics
Mai Tai Bar has a nightclub atmosphere, but is more open being located in the middle of the Ala Moana Shopping Center. Mai Tai Bar is located in the heart of Honolulu and is a local favorite with a mix of tourists. The bar gets very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights as it can only handle a few hundred patrons. There is music and Happy Hours every day of the week. Get there early if you want a seat!

Calendar of Events
Live music EVERY day from 4-7 PM and again at 9:30 PM-12:30 AM. Visit Mai Tai’s website and click calendar to see who is playing. Happy hour is daily from 7 PM to 11 PM.

Cover Charge
Mai Tai is free every night of the week and never has a cover charge!

Parking
Parking is free. Go to the third floor Ala Moana Shopping Center parking garage and park near The Pearl Ultra Lounge. Go up the esculators and follow the music.

Demographics

The Mai Tai Bar has a good mix of people of all ages, but is mostly a local bar with a sprinkle of tourists. There are a lot of bouncers, so the bar seems safe. It does get very crowded so don’t expect to have a lot of personal space. If you just want to listen to good music and have a drink visit the Mai Tai Bar Sunday through Thursday.

Dress Code
The Mai Tai dress code is very relaxed. Just show up with clothes on and they will let you in!
